Tony Choi: Korean-American DREAM student speaks out about the challenges his family faces
Tony Choi is a Korean American immigrant student from New Jersey who has grown up undocumented since coming to the United States in 1998 when he was 10 years old. His single mother raised Tony and his sister by working as a waitress and a manicurist. Tony is a senior at Berea College in Kentucky on full-tuition scholarship and is majoring in Spanish and Political Science. Tony participates actively in community service through school and is also involved with the Kentucky DREAM coalition.
